Work Shirt (Navy Blue)

Work shirts don’t come better made than this. A classic work shirt with a half placket front and pullover design. Made from a soft washed cotton twill, the kind normally reserved for heavier garments. The workman’s shirt is reinforced at the hem and the placket end. It has single cuffs and a single pencil pocket. The shirt is as well proportioned as it is made - cut to the shape of vintage 1950s workwear. You will notice that the rounded tail at the back is slightly longer than the front.

We used to find these in plentiful supply, now they are hard to find. One of our aims at Tails and the Unexpected is to source and make clothing matching the substance of garments from the early part of the twentieth century. As such this item will take washing and improve with age.
