Terms and Conditions

In these conditions the following terms shall have the following meaning "The Company" means Tails and the Unexpected Ltd. "Customer" means the customer of the company. "Contract" means any contract for the sale of goods by The Company to the Customer.

Payment is taken at the time of placing any order. No goods, including but not limited to clothing, shoes, hats or accessories, shall be supplied without payment. Goods shall be delivered by a carrier of Tails and the Unexpected’s choosing but the Company will attempt to comply with the Customer's selection. Carriage will be at cost to the Customer and forms part of the invoice.

Tails and the Unexpected Ltd is responsible for the parcel during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to the Customer’s specified delivery address. Upon receipt of goods, legal responsibility for purchased goods passes to the Customer. If the Customer specifies a recipient for delivery purposes other than his or herself (for example a work address or a recipient of a gift) then the Customer accepts that their receipt of goods transfers responsibility in the same way.

By purchasing from Tails and the Unexpected the Customer accepts that although goods are despatched with the utmost expedience delivery times are based on a third party. Although delivery times listed on the website are accurate most of the time they are outside the control of the Company and may vary. All goods lost in transit will be replaced or refunded. The Customer accepts that they must wait 21 working days before their order can be refunded or replaced. This is the time specified by our delivery agents that must be allowed before an insurance claim can be made against them and their insurers. The Customer accepts that the delivery service that is specified at the point of purchase is of the Customer's choosing.

In order to make purchases on the website tailsandtheunexpected.com you will be required to provide your personal details. In particular, you must provide your real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Furthermore, you will be required to provide payment details that you represent and warrant are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided.

Payment can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Debit, Visa Delta, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Paypal, bank transfer and debit cards. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon despatch of your order by the Company. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to the Company, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

If the Customer wishes to cancel an order once the Customer’s order has been processed and shipped by Tails and the Unexpected Ltd, the Customer will have to follow the returns procedure as explained in the returns and exchanges section of the website. Clothing, hats and accessories will be shipped according to Tails and the Unexpected’s guidelines found in the shipping section of the website. Occasionally Tails and the Unexpected Ltd may be waiting for a delivery from a supplier and under these circumstances the Customer will be contacted. Bespoke items will be subject to individual delivery arrangements and will be discussed with the Customer.

Tails and the Unexpected Ltd reserves the right to change pricing without prior notice, if industry circumstances force the Company to allow for extra or increased costs. Exchange rates are imported daily to the Company’s website.

Claims arising from damage, delay or partial loss of the goods in transit must be made by email to Tails and the Unexpected Ltd within seven working days of delivery. Tails and the Unexpected Ltd shall be afforded reasonable opportunity to investigate any claim made hereunder, and the Customer shall, if so requested in writing or verbally by The Company promptly return any of the goods subject to any claim and any packing materials securely packaged and return them to Tails and the Unexpected Ltd for examination. If the Customer establishes that any of the goods have not been delivered, or have been delivered damaged, or are not of the correct quantity, Tails and the Unexpected Ltd shall at its option, replace them with similar goods.

If the Customer establishes that any of the goods are defective Tails and the Unexpected Ltd shall, at its option replace them with similar goods. In no circumstances shall the liability of Tails and the Unexpected Ltd to the Customer under this condition exceed the invoice value of the goods.

All colours, shades and sizes are represented on the website to the best of the Company’s ability. Computer monitor differences can be responsible for any slight differences in colour and the Company cannot influence this. All images on the site are the property of the Company. Any image sent to the Company from the Customer becomes the property of the Company.

Your use of the Sites and their contents grants no rights to you in relation to any copyright, designs, trademarks and all other intellectual property and material rights relating to the content. All such content including third party trademarks, designs, and related intellectual property rights mentioned or displayed on this Site are protected by national intellectual property and other laws and international treaty provisions. You are permitted to use the Content only as expressly authorised by Tails and the Unexpected Ltd. If permission is given then citation of all content must be made. Any reproduction or redistribution of the above listed content without authorisation is prohibited and may result in civil and criminal penalties. Without limiting the foregoing, copying and use of the above listed materials to any other server, location or support for publication, reproduction or distribution is expressly prohibited. However, you are permitted to make one copy for the purposes of viewing content for your own personal use or for showing to others in promotion of the Company.

In addition to the Intellectual property rights mentioned above, "content" is defined as any graphics, photographs, including all image rights, sounds, music, video, audio or text on this Site. Tails and the Unexpected Ltd tries to ensure that the information on this site is accurate and complete. The Company does not promise that the content is accurate or error-free. The Company does not promise that the functional aspects of the website or the content will be error free or that this website, content or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. We always recommend that all users of the Internet ensure they have up to date virus checking software installed. This website is for your personal non-commercial use only.

You may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, commercially exploit, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any Content, software, products, or services contained within this Site without authorisation from Tails and the Unexpected Ltd. You may not use this Site, or any of its Content, to further any commercial purpose, including any advertising or advertising revenue generation activity on your own Site without authorisation from the Company.

You have certain rights under the law. In the United Kingdom these include:


1.    That any products you order through this Site will be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and will conform to any description given on this Site.
2.    Certain remedies if a product is defective.
3.    A right to cancel any order for a product within seven working days commencing on the day after the date on which you receive it, and receive a full refund even if it is not defective.
