Cricketers Shirt (White)

Cricketers shirt in a strong white cotton. This classic shirt has a half placket front and pullover design. Made from a soft washed cotton twill, the kind normally reserved for heavier garments. The cricketer’s shirt is reinforced at the hem and the placket end. It has single cuffs and a single breast pocket. The shirt is as well proportioned as it is made - cut to the shape of vintage clothing. You will notice that the rounded tail at the back is slightly longer than the front.

We used to find these in plentiful supply, now they are hard to find. One of our aims at Tails and the Unexpected is to source and make clothing matching the substance of garments from the early part of the twentieth century. As such this item will take washing and improve with age.
