A detachable wing collar made from 100% starched cotton. Also known as a Windsor collar for its royal association and former prominence in this part of England. For nearly two hundred years the wing collar has been worn by city barristers. It is an even older accessory to white tie evening wear. Today wing collars are worn with a freshly pressed classic white collarless shirt and should sit three quarters of an inch above the yoke.
Having handled traditional neckwear from all eras over the past four decades, we have sourced from England a wing collar of the same quality as those from the 1930s and 1940s.
Made in the UK by Tails and the Unexpected, outfitting gentlemen since 1979.
Sizing: graduated sizing - will fit collars 15in (38cm) up to 19.5in (50cm).
